An Update on the New Tri-Circle-D Ranch Barn at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

An Update on the New Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Fort Wilderness The DIS TriCircleD-01

As ranch hands get ready for the move, Walt Disney World has released some new information about the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch coming this spring to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

The current almost 50 year old facility will soon be replaced by a new barn and pasture area, and as construction on the new facility recently reached its peak, Cast Members (and ponies) signed a beam that will go into the new barn.

The team of ranch hands, veterinarians, blacksmiths, and nutritionists care for a variety of breeds at the ranch, including Quarter Horse, Percheron, Paint, Gypsy Vanner, Clydesdale, Belgian, Appaloosa, Arabian, and Shetland ponies. Even with the move happening soon, the animal Cast Members are still busy with pony and horseback rides, carriage and sleigh rides, parades, and trolleys.
