Angela Lansbury’s family announced on Tuesday that the cherished actress and Disney Legend died peacefully in her sleep just five days shy of her 97th birthday.
Lansbury was a beloved actress who voiced Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She also starred in many popular films throughout her career such as Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Mary Poppins Returns.
Of course, many of us are fond of her role in Murder, She Wrote which ran for 12 seasons until 1996, becoming one of the longest-running and most popular detective drama series in television history.
