Along with the addition of Disney MagicMobile service, Walt Disney World will discontinue offering complimentary MagicBands with annual pass purchases and renewals made August 16, 2021 and beyond.
Annual Passholders will still receive their special discount on purchased MagicBands with more designs to choose from in the future. The following options will continue to be available to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders:
- Disney MagicMobile service
- Current MagicBands linked to their Disney account
- Newly purchased MagicBands (available at a special discount for Annual Passholders)
- Annual pass cards
Disney also said that Orange Bird and Figment designs just for Annual Passholders are coming to the Disney-themed MagicMobile Pass, so be on the lookout for those in the near future as well!
