In an effort to ensure that as many guests have the opportunity to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance as possible, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has announced that they will be giving guests the opportunity to join a backup boarding group.
According to the My Disney Experience app, if boarding groups have reached capacity for the day, and once boarding groups 1-120 have been called, and if there is additional capacity for more riders to enjoy the attraction, guests will have the opportunity to join a backup boarding group. At that time, backup boarding groups 121 and above will be called.
As always, guests are reminded that capacity is limited, and that joining a boarding group does not guarantee entry to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Deni loves all things Disney, and, in 2013, moved to the Magic from Maryland. Walt Disney World is her happy place, and she loves getting to share it with others. Deni and her husband of almost 26 years have 2 grown children. Her favorite WDW snack? A Mickey Bar, of course. Is there any other?!
