At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024, we learned about a new adventure featuring Din Djarin, the titular Mandalorian from The Mandalorian, along with everyone’s favorite Grogu, are coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The new mission, coming to Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, plays into the narrative of the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu movie. “Working alongside The Mandalorian team, the Imagineers captured scenes for the attraction on the movie set, and you might see some familiar (and beloved) Star Wars locations aboard the Millennium Falcon. Care for a trip to Cloud City, anyone?”
Both the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu movie and this update to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will debut on May 22, 2026.
If you’ve been lucky enough to see the playful and completely adorable BDX droids puttering around Disneyland, you might be thrilled to learn that they will make a trip around the world to visit Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. These little droids will also appear in The Mandalorian and Grogu as their first feature film debut.
