Big Hero 6 series coming to Disney XD

Disney’s 2014 hit animated film “Big Hero 6” is set to become a TV series on Disney XD, picking up right where the film left off.

Hiro will be dealing with life on the campus of the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, while he and the team of heroes fight to protect the city.

“Kim Possible” creators Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley are the executive producers along with Nick Filippi.

The series is set to premiere in 2017.
