If you’ve been waiting for Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to reopen, today’s your lucky day!
It’s just been announced that Boma- Flavors of Africa will reopen this Friday, August 20th. Reservations will open for booking on Wednesday, August 18th.
The restaurant will be open for breakfast and dinner seatings, and will again be an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet, making it the first one of its kind to return to Walt Disney World as a buffet. Among the dinner offerings will be pork ribs, salmon, African-spiced strip loin, Durban rotisserie chicken, and lamb bobotie. Kiddos in your group can enjoy pasta and meatballs, mac n’ cheese, and chicken bites. Love the soups and stews? They’ll be back, as will the fan-favorite Zebra Domes.
What’s your favorite dish on the Boma buffet? Let us know in the comment section below!

Deni loves all things Disney, and, in 2013, moved to the Magic from Maryland. Walt Disney World is her happy place, and she loves getting to share it with others. Deni and her husband of almost 26 years have 2 grown children. Her favorite WDW snack? A Mickey Bar, of course. Is there any other?!
