The brand-new guided tour we shared details about last week is officially on the calendar at Disneyland Resort, and reservations are now live.
The Women Who Make the Magic Guided Tour will begin stepping off on March 6 and will spotlight the influential women whose creativity and talent helped shape the original Disney theme park. The launch comes just in time for Women’s History Month, adding an extra layer of meaning to the experience.
The tour will honor legendary women like Leota Toombs, the Imagineer and model behind Madame Leota in Haunted Mansion, and Mary Blair, whose bold artistic style defined attractions like “it’s a small world” and influenced the visuals of the Disney theme parks for decades. The tour will highlight their lasting impact, along with other women whose contributions assisted in bringing Walt Disney’s visions to life.
Guests will also enjoy storytelling elements that weave together history, design, and the evolution of the park. Guided tours at Disneyland often include exclusive insights, curated walking routes, and unique perspectives that go way beyond what guests typically experience on their own.

Advanced reservations are strongly recommended for the new tour, though Disneyland notes that same-day reservations may be available, depending on capacity. Be sure to check with a cast member at the Guided Tours booth or Guest Services if you’re visiting.
The addition of this offering continues Disneyland’s recent expansion of experiences that focus on the park’s history and Imagineering legacy. For guests who enjoy diving deeper into the stories behind the attractions, this new experience offers a chance to explore the park through a different lens.
Guests interested in booking the Women Who Make the Magic Guided Tour can now do so through the Disneyland website or app.
