Beginning today, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe in Magic Kingdom is serving a brand new “create-your-own” menu concept. The new dishes are filled with Tex-Mex flavors inspired by the American Southwest.
First, guests will begin their dining experience by picking a base from the following: Steamed Tamale, Rice Bowl, Nacho Bowl, or Southwest Caesar Salad. Next, they’ll choose one of the following proteins: Citrus-Chipotle Chicken, Green Chili Pork, or Coca-Cola Cherry Braised Beef. Guests looking for a more significant portion can double their protein or add a second one for an additional charge.
In addition to the new bowls, there are new à la carte selections for entrées and sides. Burger fans will love the Double Chili con Queso Burger while the Grilled Masa Flatbread is a plant-based option that is not to be missed. When it comes to side dishes, the new Barbecue-Cheddar Seasoned French Fries or Charro Beans will satisfy that appetite. Those looking for a sweet treat will also be pleased because the Sweet Corn Mousse and Mexican Chocolate and Horchata Verrine are the perfect finish to your meal. - Steamed Tamale: Steamed green chili-cheese tamale with stewed pinto beans, queso fresco, and pico de gallo
- Nacho Bowl: House-fried corn tortilla chips smothered with stewed pinto beans, chipotle queso, and pico de gallo
- Rice Bowl: Stewed pinto beans, cilantro-lime rice, cowboy caviar, pico de gallo, and queso fresco
