This week, breakfast quietly returned to River Belle Terrace at Disneyland Park. The restaurant last served breakfast in February 2016, just before it closed to begin its change-over to a sit-down restaurant.
Fans will be happy to know that new menu once again features a Mickey-shaped Pancake [$17.00]. All other entrees, however are brand new!
The Southern Fried Bone-in Pork Chop [$21.00] is served with sunny side-up eggs, signature potatoes, and bacon gravy. The Short Rib Skillet [$19.00] also has sunny side-up eggs and signature potatoes, plus onions and peppers, and Texas toast.
The restaurant is also serving fresh baked biscuits! The Mark Twain [$17.00] comes with chicken sausage or applewood-smoked bacon, plus scrambled eggs, signature potatoes, and a biscuit. The Country Biscuits and Gravy [$17.00] has a crispy chicken breast, biscuit, bacon gravy, chicken crackling, and blistered tomatoes.
For something a little different, Becky Thatcher’s Fried Green Tomato [$17.00] features deviled eggs, roasted corn and avocado relish, chimichurri, red pepper coulis, and blistered tomatoes.
The Monkey Bread [$8.00] that was recently added to the lunch and dinner menu is also available at breakfast. The sweet bread is smothered in pecan butter, maple syrup, and candied pecans.
Younger guests can choose between Seasonal Oats with berries [$11.00] or Silver Dollar pancakes [$8.00] with eggs, and bacon or sausage.
As with lunch and dinner, breakfast is a full service sit-down experience. Currently seating is available on a walk-up basis, but expect reservations to be available soon.
