California Governor Gavin Newsom announced two new directives today that will close more businesses throughout the state.
First, Newsom has now ordered the closure of all bars and indoor seating at restaurants across the entire state of California. The order also includes movie theaters, card rooms, museums, wineries, family entertainment centers, and indoor areas at zoos. Several counties, including Orange where the Disneyland Resort is, received the same order back on July 1st.
In addition, today Newsom ordered the closure of gyms, hair salons, churches, non-essential offices, and indoor malls in 30 counties, including Orange.
As Downtown Disney is not considered an indoor mall and changes have already been made to bars and restaurants, it’s not likely Newsom’s new order would affect the Downtown Disney district.
