The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular has been a long-running attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, known for its elaborate sets, pyrotechnics, and large-scale practical effects. While safety systems are built into every performance, this incident highlights the risks involved in live stunt shows that rely on heavy props and precise timing.
Disney did not confirm how long the affected show element will be altered or whether additional changes could be made following the internal review, but online reports state that the boulder has been removed from the show for now.
The injured cast member’s quick actions are credited with preventing a potentially more serious situation, and many guests have shared well wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
