The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District has posted an announcement of a special meeting to be held on Monday, May 1st, at 9:30 am Eastern.
On the agenda is one item under New Business:
Board discussion and direction to litigation counsel and authorization to defend District officials sued in official capacities.
In case you missed it, the lawsuit filed yesterday by Disney listed not only Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a defendant but also listed each of the five hand-selected Board Supervisors in their official capacities, amongst others.
DeSantis stated in a news conference in Jerusalem that the lawsuit has “no merit.”
