
To remain exempt from major inspection, Central Florida theme parks must list all of their quarterly incidents and injuries with the state. This quarter’s report (January – March 2023) covers a total of 7 incidents/injuries, with 4 belonging to Disney, 2 to Universal, and 1 to Sea World. Only incidents or illnesses resulting in a hospital stay of 24 hours or more and deaths are reported.

1/5/23 – Pirates of the Caribbean, 75 yof, guest experienced cardiac symptoms after riding the attraction
2/7/23 – Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition, 72 yom, guest with preexisting condition had stroke-like symptoms after experiencing the attraction
2/25/23 – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, 72 yof, guest felt disoriented after exiting the attraction
3/29/23 – The Seas with Nemo & Friends, 67 yof, guest fell entering the ride vehicle and fractured her leg
UNIVERSAL
2/11/23 – Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, 64 yof, headache
3/12/23 – Jurassic World VelociCoaster, 47 yom, abdominal pain
SEA WORLD
1/8/23 – Cookie Drop, 70 yof, felt dizzy and lightheaded after riding
