Chatting with a Cultural Representative is one of the coolest things about visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World.
These cast members participate in a special one-year Disney International Program while helping to create authentic experiences for guests of the resort. They engage visitors in the diversity of their home countries through a combination of cultural and conservation-focused activities.

The cast members are from various parts of Africa, mainly Sub-Saharan Africa, and love to share their stories with guests. You can find Cultural Representatives around the resort, including in the lobby, restaurants, and the outside grounds. They’re happy to answer any questions you may have.
Cultural Representatives have been sorely missed having not been present at Animal Kingdom Lodge since before the pandemic shutdown in 2020.
