D23 has said that the event will take place in 2021 and they will announce the new date later this year.

Here is their official statement:

Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 virus and protocols necessary to ensure social distancing, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Destination D event until 2021

We plan to announce a new date for Destination D later this year and will continue to host exclusive virtual events throughout 2020.

We look forward to seeing you at a D23 event in the near future.
