Back in November, we told you that updates were coming to the rooms and public spaces of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Now we have more details as the Disneyland Resort has released details and photos of the new hotel rooms!
Walt Disney Imagineering has planned an extensive refurbishment that “not only elevates the premium hotel experience, but also brings a modern approach to the Arts & Crafts design style.”
The guest rooms are getting a complete redesign, with new flooring and wall treatments, plus new oak furniture and luxurious linens. The new headboard design features inlaid wood, plus Chip ‘n Dale in a large orange tree, to honor the orange groves that once grew where Disneyland now stands.
The first group of updated rooms is almost done, but the refurbishment is expected to continue through the end of 2017.
