Starting April 18th, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can visit the theme parks after 2 P.M. without needing a park reservation. There is an exception, though; this will not be allowed on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom. It makes sense because those are busier park days for Magic Kingdom.
In this announcement, they also noted that blockout dates would continue to apply to the different annual pass tiers. Guests can still visit Magic Kingdom after 2 P.M. on Saturdays and Sundays if they have a park reservation booked at another park and entered it.
Some other big news is that starting March 20th, Walt Disney World guests purchasing Disney Genie+ will also receive digital downloads of their Disney PhotoPass ride photos taken on the day of purchase for no additional charge. Are you excited about this news? Do you think this is a step in the right direction for Annual Passholders at WDW? Let us know what you think!
Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
