The annual TravelAge West WAVE Awards were held on June 13 to recognize the outstanding qualities and services of their travel supplier partners—voted on by travel advisors themselves. These awards have 88 categories that include cruise, tour operator, airline, hotel and resort, destination, rail vacation and travel insurance companies.
Disney Destinations was honored with three WAVE Awards for Adventures by Disney, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disneyland Resort, recognizing the destinations as some of the top in the travel industry:
- Best Tour Operator for Multigenerational Travel
- Best Resort for Cultural Immersion, Hawaii
- Favorite Three-Night Destination to Sell
