Okay, I had to read this twice. Disney Fairy Tale Weddings is offering discounts. Real ones.
According to a new announcement, couples planning a Summer 2027 wedding or vow renewal at Walt Disney World can choose from a few limited-time offers. And these aren’t the usual “perk” situations where you squint and try to figure out the value.
Here’s what’s being offered:
- 50% off select ceremony venue fees
- 20% off specialty transportation, including Cinderella’s Coach and the Landau Coach
- Summer 2027 bookings are now open
This is kind of a big deal.
If you’ve ever looked into Disney weddings, you already know they don’t really do this. Pricing is usually what it is. Maybe you get a small incentive here or there, but straight-up percentage discounts on major pieces of the day? That’s rare.
The ceremony discount is the one that really stands out. Depending on the venue, that could take a serious chunk out of your overall wedding cost. In fact, this could be the difference between having a Disney wedding or not.
The discount on the specialty transportation part is interesting too, because that’s usually one of those “love it, but can we justify it?” add-ons. I mean, who wouldn’t want that Cinderella Carriage with the gorgeous white horses at their wedding?!?!!? This might tip some couples into saying yes.
As with most discounts, these offers only apply to select dates and locations, and it all depends on availability – no surprises there. Still, if you’re even thinking about a Disney wedding for Summer 2027, this probably isn’t something you should sit on for too long.
It looks like Disney is trying something here with opening the booking window early and pairing it with actual savings. That’s not their usual move. Whether it’s about locking in demand sooner or just filling out the calendar, it stands out.
