Disneyland has announced that Disney Jr. Let’s Play!, a three-day event inspired by Disney Jr.’s beloved characters and stories, will return to the resort this August!
From August 8 through August 10, 2025, fun festivities will fill Disney California Adventure and the Downtown Disney District, with dynamic entertainment and photo opportunities specially designed for young families.
The celebration kicks off in California Adventure on August 8th. The day includes the high-energy “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party” featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other fan-favorite characters along the parade route and a special “Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Live” stage show at the Hollywood Backlot stage.
Kids can join in the fun with “Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties,” a cupcake decorating activity that shows how food brings everyone together. They can also get creative at Animation Academy with “Learn to Draw Disney Jr. Characters” for a hands-on, interactive experience.
Preschoolers and their families can keep the fun going with activities that spark creativity and play. There are also plenty of photo-ready moments, including a themed wall in Hollywood Land featuring favorites like Bluey, Spidey and his Amazing Friends, Iron Man and his Awesome Friends, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, and SuperKitties.
