Beginning May 24, guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort can purchase brand new, limited-release Mickey Mouse ear hats and Minnie Mouse ear headbands that were designed by renowned celebrities, designers, and artists.
The collection includes elements of each collaborator like seatbelts from HARVEYS to iconic silhouettes of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. These designs will also be available for purchase online for those who aren’t planning to visit the theme parks.
New designs will be released monthly such as a “bridal-inspired design using hand sewn crystal and pearl embroidery by Vera Wang, a decadent crystal-encrusted ear hat from The Blonds, a classic pink-puffed ear headband by Betsey Johnson, a mommy-and-daughter set by Cupcakes and Cashmere and a genuine crafted leather, floral-inspired ear headband by COACH.” Heidi Klum, legendary supermodel, television host, and entrepreneur has also designed a sparkling ear headband that is coming this fall.
Additional designers in the collection will include ALEX AND ANI, Loungefly, along with a Star Wars design from actress Ashley Eckstein for Her Universe.
There will also be designs from popular Disney characters and Disney Parks attractions such as an Enchanted Tiki Room-inspired design and upcoming designs by Disney Imagineers such as Kim Irvine, Kevin Rafferty, and Joe Rohde.
