Disney picked up two notable honors today as IAAPA announced the winners of its 2025 Brass Ring Excellence Awards, recognizing standout work across the global attractions industry.
Both awards focused on live entertainment, with Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland Paris earning top marks for year-round productions that leave a strong impression on guests.
Disney Cruise Line received the award for Most Creative Theatrical Production – Year-Round Operation for Disney The Tale of Moana, the stage show featured aboard the Disney Treasure. The production brings Moana’s story to life through live performers, music, and large-scale staging created specifically for a cruise ship setting.

At the same time, Disneyland Paris earned the Most Creative Spectacle award for Disney Tales of Magic. The nighttime show was recognized for how it blends storytelling, visuals, and atmosphere to create a memorable end-of-day experience for guests.
Both awards fall under IAAPA’s Live Entertainment Excellence category, which highlights shows and productions that consistently operate while maintaining a high level of quality. Winners are chosen by volunteer panels made up of attractions professionals from around the world.
The honors were announced by IAAPA, the international trade group that represents thousands of attractions, parks, cruise lines, and entertainment destinations worldwide.
For Disney, the recognition reinforces what fans already know. Strong storytelling and live entertainment remain a big part of what sets its parks and ships apart.
