I love a behind-the-scenes story, especially when it comes to Disney and its charitable work with families in need. While there are many charities that are close to my heart, one of them is the Make-A-Wish Foundation, granting wishes to severely ill children in need of some magic. In honor of World Princess Week, Disney made an announcement yesterday that made my heart sing.
Walt Disney World will be hosting the “Once Upon A Wish Party,” where more than 50 princesses and their royal families will visit Disney to attend a once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to Disney and Make-A-Wish.
The announcement sounded special enough, though shortly after, Disney Parks shared some of the reactions as princesses received their royal invitations from Disney. Watch the clip below, and I dare you not to smile. I’m not crying; you’re crying!
Okay, fine. I am crying. Wish kids will take part in special princess-inspired festivities during the event. I can’t wait to see some of those special little faces enjoying their time at Disney’s special celebration.
