As part of today’s Q2 Earnings Call, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger confirmed that the company would launch a new app that combines the Disney + Streaming service and Hulu. A new service will be offered later in the year that incorporates Hulu content.
Each app will still be available separately. The combined app will only be available in the USA. Outside of the USA, the platform has already added STAR, which allows a lot of additional content to be included with subscriptions. More information is still to come on the combined app for US subscribers.
