Disney World Passholders Invited to Preview New ‘Zootopia’ Show

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will soon have the chance to experience a brand-new attraction before its official debut. Disney has announced special early preview opportunities for the upcoming Zootopia: Better Zoogether show, set to debut inside the Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on November 7, 2025.

The exclusive previews will take place on November 5 and 6, giving Passholders an early look at the highly anticipated show before it opens to all park guests. These previews continue Disney’s tradition of offering Annual Passholders special first access to new experiences across Walt Disney World.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether invites guests to step into the world of the hit Disney animated film Zootopia, joining Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and other beloved characters as they share a message of unity and adventure. The new experience will replace It’s Tough to Be a Bug! inside the park’s iconic Tree of Life Theater, blending humor, heart, and stunning visual effects inspired by the movie’s diverse animal metropolis.

The addition of Zootopia: Better Zoogether marks another step in the ongoing evolution of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, following the park’s focus on immersive storytelling and character-driven experiences. Fans eager to return to the Tree of Life Theater won’t have to wait long as Nick, Judy, and the citizens of Zootopia are ready to welcome them soon.

How to Experience This Preview

  • First, make a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to have an opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day.
  • Next, on the day of the preview, use the My Disney Experience app to request to join the virtual queue. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews.
  • The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a theme park reservation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park for that day.
  • The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to any Passholder with valid admission. A theme park reservation is not required.
  • You do not need to have entered a theme park to join the virtual queue.

Important Information

Passholders must have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date and may need a theme park reservation depending on the time of visit. Applicable pass blockout dates apply. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and reservation requirements are subject to change.

As a reminder, if a Passholder has a reservation to another theme park, they must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Or, Passholders may visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park without a theme park reservation after 2:00 PM. Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day.

Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
