Duffy the Disney Bear made his debut at Tokyo Disney Resort nearly 20 years ago. Since then, (and after a brief stint at EPCOT) many more pastel-hued friends have joined his happy little crew; including ShellieMay, Gelatoni the cat, StellaLou the bunny, CookieAnn the pup, Olu’Mel the sea turtle, and LinaBell the fox.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the cutest crew, a nearly year-long party will be happening at Tokyo DisneySea, from April 8th and continuing on through March 19th, 2026. You’ll find themed merchandise, special menus, adorable décor, entertainment and more. Just like Duffy & Friends who find joy in the small things, Disney is celebrating with all things happy from rainbows to bubbles!
Starting at the entrance of Tokyo DisneySea, colorful 20th-anniversary banners will feature all seven members of Duffy & Friends. Bubbly rainbow art will be on display on nearby walls for photo ops in Mediterranean Harbor, while the buildings found in Cape Cod will also be decked out with decorations.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a visit to Tokyo Disney without picking up some (or all) of their adorable merchandise! The new celebratory collection includes plush charms, patches, badge holders, a bubble popcorn bucket, and more.
Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina located in Lost River Delta will be home to a 20th-anniversary dining experience celebrating the world of Duffy, where you can try a special Duffy set served with seasonal soups. Nearby, a new milk tea-flavored crème brûlée churro will be available, served in a special package adorned with one of seven unique designs featuring a member of Duffy & friends.
The happy little crew will also embark on a journey along the waterways of Tokyo DisneySea. Duffy & Friends will celebrate the special occasion in all-new 20th-anniversary outfits during “Duffy & Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey.”
