Darreck Michael Enciso, a dishwasher at the Disneyland Resort, has been arrested after attempting to trade Disneyland tickets for sex with a minor. Disneyland spokesperson Suzi Brown says that Enciso has been “immediately relieved of his duties.”
A Huntington Beach police officer posing as a 14-year-old girl, answered Enciso’s Craigslist ad in which he was seeking women who would be willing to engage in sex acts in exchange for Disneyland tickets. Enciso was arrested after showing up to the arranged meeting with condoms and Disneyland tickets.
According to Deputy District Attorney Bobby Taghavi, Enciso was caught during a routine monitoring of Craigslist for online child predators.
Enciso had been charged with felony attempted lewd act on a child, contacting a child with the intent to commit a lewd conduct, and meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct.
He is currently being held pending $100,000 bail and could face up to four years in prison.
