Disneyland Resort adds preferred parking option

The DIS has confirmed that the Disneyland Resort is testing a new program that will allow guests the option of upgrading to preferred parking.

Beginning today, guests arriving at the Mickey & Friends parking structure can pay $35, instead of the usual $18,  in order to be guaranteed a space closer to the escalators and elevators.  Annual Passholders that have parking included in their passes are able to pay the $17 difference for preferred parking.

Preferred parking is not available at the Toy Story, Downtown Disney or any of the hotel parking lots.

The preferred parking option will continue until at least mid-January.
