Disneyland Resort Gives Back to Anaheim Job Training Program

Recently, the Disneyland Resort announced a $600,000 donation to Chrysalis, a non-profit organization that helps people find and retain study jobs. So far, the organization has helped over 60,000 California residents.

The donation will help Chrysalis open a new facility in Anaheim, thereby extending its reach in Orange County. Disneyland will also provide its Disney VoluntEARS to lend support and expertise, helping residents increase their employability by upgrading their skill sets.

In addition, Disney VoluntEARS have begun a business clothing and hygiene products drive to give the new facility a kick-start.

Disneyland President Josh D’Amaro said of the donation:

This marks our increasing commitment to the city of Anaheim and the future of its economy and workforce.
