Disney’s Contemporary Resort Evacuated Due to Fire Alarm

The DIS has received word from a guest at Disney’s Contemporary Resort that the entire resort is being evacuated due to a fire alarm at Chef Mickey’s.

We will continue to follow this story as it develops.

7:24pm – We hear that Monorails are not running, but that could be due to weather in the area.

7:25pm – According to a poster on our DISboard on facebook! page, the elevators are now operating at the Contemporary.

7:55pm – Guests at the Magic Kingdom monorail station are being told that elevators in the Contemporary are not working, so they should take a bus or walk to the resort. Boat service, however, has resumed.
