Disney announced that Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is reopening on January 27, 2027, one day after Blizzard Beach closes for the season. Disney also shared details you may not have known about the Water Park Seasonal Pass, which gives guests the chance to visit both water parks through May 15, 2027.

Typhoon Lagoon Reopens January 27, 2027
Typhoon Lagoon has always been a favorite for guests who like to mix a bit of adventure along with some relaxation. The tropical setting is so lovely, with its famous shipwrecked shrimp boat perched high atop Mount Mayday.
Guests can look forward to returning favorites, including the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, known for its giant waves, and Crush ‘n’ Gusher, the water coaster that sends riders twisting and turning through a series of slides.
Families with younger children can spend time at Ketchakiddee Creek, while Castaway Creek offers a relaxing float around the park. And, of course, there are plenty of sandy spots to settle in for an afternoon in the Florida sunshine.
Blizzard Beach will remain open through January 26, 2027, before Typhoon Lagoon takes over water park operations the following day.
Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass Pricing and Details
Disney is also offering a Water Park Seasonal Pass that allows guests to enjoy multiple visits through May 15, 2027.
Here’s the pricing:
- Ages 10 and older: $89 plus tax
- Ages 3 to 9: $83 plus tax

The pass is valid for visits to Blizzard Beach now and Typhoon Lagoon once it reopens in January. However, there are two sets of blockout dates to keep in mind:
- February 19-21, 2027
- March 20-28, 2027
For families planning more than one water park visit during that period, the seasonal pass could be worth considering.
Seasonal Passholders Get a Few Extra Perks
There’s more included with the seasonal pass than water park admission.
Passholders receive one complimentary round of miniature golf at either Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. The round must be played before 4 p.m. on one date during the pass’s validity period.
Disney is also offering Seasonal Passholders 20% off same-day rentals of Polar Patios at Blizzard Beach and Beachcomber Shacks at Typhoon Lagoon. These private spaces offer a place to relax between trips down the slides, although the discount must be arranged in person at the water park.
With Blizzard Beach welcoming guests through January 26 and Typhoon Lagoon reopening the next morning, Disney water park fans won’t have to wait long to enjoy their favorite tropical attractions again.
And if you’re planning a Walt Disney World trip for early 2027, it’s worth keeping these dates and seasonal pass details in mind as you put together your vacation plans.
