Downtown Disney is a vibrant and exciting area of the Disneyland Resort where guests can enjoy the atmosphere of Disney without requiring a theme park ticket. The area has been undergoing extensive renovations for the past few years, with so much more in store for the reimagined area. We’ve got all the latest news on the area to share with you, complete with an Earl of Sandwich update. There are also some new details on Paseo and Céntrico and the announcement of a new location, Tiendita.
First Look at Parkside Market!
Let’s get started with a first look at the new renderings for the Parkside Market area of Downtown Disney. The space will hold a “curated collection of four diverse culinary concepts from Levy Restaurants, all under one roof, as part of the expansion of the district on the west end.” We already know that the new Parkside Market will bring with it a Korean-inspired Seoul Sister location and a Sip & Sonder. A GG’s Chicken Shop will round out the area “with chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides; and a second story bar with great views of the district to sip signature craft cocktails and mocktails paired with tantalizing appetizers.”
Update On Earl of Sandwich
There are plans in the works for an all-new, two-story Earl of Sandwich location for the Downtown Disney District. The location is set to include a quick-service Earl of Sandwich shop on the ground level, as well as a table-service gastropub in the upstairs area. If you can’t wait to visit the dining location, don’t forget the temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up that will be opening soon near Star Wars Trading Post.
“Earl of Sandwich will be relocated from its temporary location on the east end of the district near the Esplanade to make way for the design and construction of an all-new Porto’s Bakery,” said Disney Parks Blog

Sneak Peek at Paseo and Céntrico, and Announcing Tiendita!
Next, let’s take a sneak peek at what’s coming to the center of the district later this spring – the new Paseo and Céntrico – and announcing, Tiendita! With menus created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán, the Paseo upstairs dining room and the first floor Céntrico courtyard bar and restaurant will offer upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails, while next door, Tiendita will offer Chef Gaytán’s Mexican heritage flavors on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food staples.
