Disney cast members and media were set to get a special preview of the return of the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Wednesday night, though reports claim that the show was cut short, canceled mid-way due to inclement weather. Fans of the show, like our own Erica Resnick, have rejoiced in recent news that its long-awaited return was drawing near, having been disappointed by extended downtime following its temporary 2020 closure due to COVID-19.
Fantasmic! will be one of the last attractions to reopen in the Walt Disney World theme parks after the pandemic closures, and is set to reopen for guests Thursday, November 3rd. Let’s hope the official opening for park guests goes a little more smoothly than the preview did.
