Lunar New Year is set to return to Disney California Adventure from January 23 through February 22, 2026, bringing back a colorful celebration filled with food, entertainment, and seasonal offerings inspired by Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. The festival will once again invite guests to welcome the new year through shared meals, live performances, and festive décor throughout the park.
In honor of the Year of the Horse, which symbolizes energy, independence, and strength, Disney is introducing several new menu items alongside returning fan favorites. New offerings for 2026 include Five-Spice Popcorn Chicken, Japchae Noodles, and a Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese, giving guests plenty of savory options to explore during their visit. These additions join a lineup of popular returning dishes such as the Quesabirria Eggroll, the Phở Dip sandwich, and the Taro Vietnamese Cold Brew, all of which have become staples of the Lunar New Year celebration in recent years.
With so many limited-time items available, guests may want to consider picking up a Sip and Savor Pass. This scannable credential includes six digital coupons, redeemable for select food and nonalcoholic beverages at Lunar New Year marketplaces and participating dining locations throughout the park. Eligible items will be clearly marked, making it easy to plan tastings across multiple booths.
Beyond the food, Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure offers a full slate of entertainment. Guests can enjoy special character appearances featuring Disney friends dressed in festive Lunar New Year attire, along with Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession on select days. The celebration also includes Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration, a special pre-show experience presented before World of Color Happiness!.
