Haunted Mansion Holiday is now open at Disneyland Park and has been festively redesigned for the Halloween and holiday seasons by none other than Sandy Claws from Tim Burtonโs The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Disneyland has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this year’s brand-new display that includes fascinating details! Let’s take a look, shall we?

The Story Behind This Year’s Creation
Nestled in the ballroom of the mansion lies the gingerbread house and this year, Jack Skellington, or should we say Santa Jack,ย has recruited Dr. Finkelstein, Halloween Townโs resident mad scientist, to conjure up some ideas for this yearโs creation.
As Dr. Finkelstein used his mad scientist expertise, he incorporated some of his experiments into the gingerbread house. Along with his trusted assistant Igor, heโs brought his own Gigantic Gingerbread Zombie, Lilโ Franky, to life! Well, almost. The doctor and his partner are testing out different tweaks to complete the transformation. Andย unfortunately for Lilโ Franky, that involves his head popping off and onย โ what a headache.
