Earlier this week, we shared the news that Michael Sasso resigned as 1 of 5 Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Board of Supervisors. The news was announced Thursday afternoon that Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Charbel Barakat to step into his Sasso’s place, which is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
Governor Ron DeSantis also shared Sasso’s resignation letter Thursday afternoon which still doesn’t offer a reason for his departure.
