At long last, the pièce de résistance – Hatbox Ghost – has materialized inside the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom! The announcement of his impending arrival was first made back in September of 2022 by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro, and he gave the timeframe of the iconic ghost’s arrival as “sometime in 2023.”
Disney Parks dropped various teasers throughout 2023, but during the Halfway to Halloween celebration in April, we saw a video on TikTok that had many Disney fans wondering if we’d see the addition sooner in the year rather than later.
We eventually learned that November would mark the official debut, and lo and behold, today is the last day of the month, and Hatbox Ghost has officially arrived! Enjoy Craig’s point-of-view video below, as he was one of the first to lay eyes on the new addition!
