Honda has confirmed its sponsorship of the Autopia attraction at Disneyland Park, an attraction that has been in the park in one form or another since opening day in 1955.
The ride vehicles already use Honda engines, but Honda’s new partnership will include a update to the attraction that features a new paint job and a new storyline. Autopia closed in January to begin the makeover.
Honda already sponsors the Disneyland Forever fireworks, Grad Nite events and, up until recently, the ASIMO exhibit at Innoventions.
Autopia is scheduled to reopen April 29, 2016.
