Disney announced different ways fans can celebrate 100 Years of Disney and the Wonder of Mickey and Minnie. There are many activities taking place all around the world, from France to California. At Walt Disney World, guests can celebrate with themed treats and unique merchandise.
The center of the event will take place in Disneyland, and the park will be decorated for the occasion. Today Disney is shining a light on Mickey & Minnie Mouse and how they can be celebrated at Disney Parks.

The Disney100 celebration showcases fans’ favorite stories and beloved characters with monthly themes. Since it all started with a mouse, we’re officially kicking off our monthly “Wonder of …” celebrations by shining a spotlight on the Wonder of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! For almost a century, fans around the world have been inspired by this iconic pair’s optimism, positivity and loyalty. These are traits that honor not just Disney heritage, but the legacy of Walt Disney himself.
We’re celebrating the Wonder of Mickey and Minnie around the globe. Here are just a few examples:
Minnie & Mickey’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Resort
During the launch of the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort which begins Jan. 27, 2023, the new attraction Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open for guests in Disneyland park! Inside the El CapiTOON Theater, this family-friendly experience will transport you into the wacky and unpredictable cartoon world of Mickey and Minnie, where you’ll board a train engineered by Goofy and embark on a zany adventure.
Polka Dot Day at Disneyland Paris
Every January 22, Disney fans across the globe come together to celebrate the style of the iconic character, Minnie Mouse, and 2023 is no exception. At Disneyland Paris, catch Minnie in a brand new, limited-time performance in Walt Disney Studios Park. Looking to meet with her one-on-one? Take advantage of a special Meet and Greet opportunity in front of a brand-new backdrop. And enjoy an exclusive magic shot on PhotoPass, special treats and other surprises created for that day only. Anyone can celebrate Polka Dot Day, so be sure to show off your inner Minnie Mouse all day long.
Parades, Mementos and Treats at Walt Disney World Resort
At Walt Disney World Resort, there are so many ways for Mickey & Minnie fans to celebrate their favorite pals! You can commemorate your visit by meeting them in person at any of the four theme parks. Don’t miss the chance to wave hello to them during the “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade” at Magic Kingdom Park. Plus, you can find mementos featuring the iconic duo throughout all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Disney Springs. You can even enjoy delicious treats inspired by Mickey & Minnie across the Walt Disney World Resort, including Mickey & Minnie Chocolate Covered Apples from the Main Street Confectionary at Magic Kingdom Park, Mickey & Minnie Mousse Dome Cakes from Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs, and the Vintage Mickey & Minnie Sugar Cookie at Carousel Coffee, now open inside Disney’s BoardWalk.
Disneyland Resort and Southern California from Adventures by Disney
It all started with a Mouse, Mickey Mouse. And with Adventures by Disney, you can experience him like you never have before through the Adventures by Disney Disneyland Resort and Southern California itinerary or the Disneyland Resort and Southern California Escape.
