Walt Disney World has announced that new candy containers, inspired by the iconic trash cans found along Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom, will launch later this month. These icons are something I always pay attention to when I’m in the Disney theme parks, as they differ depending on where you are at any given moment. I love seeing them replicated as miniature, nostalgic collectibles. How many trash can-inspired salt and pepper shakers do you have?



These little beauties feature swinging lids on both sides and a flip-top for easy access to your sweet treats inside. Disney wants to remind guests that they’ll need to complete their purchase prior to filling the container with candy. Also, you must purchase a minimum of at least 1/2 lb. of candy to be able to buy the container. There is a limit of 2 containers per guest, per transaction.
