During the Horizons: A Carousel of Progress presentation at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, Disney announced that Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston will provide the voices for the newest version of the classic attraction Carousel of Progress. Curtis will voice Sarah the Mother, while Cranston will voice John the Father.
The refurbished attraction will introduce four new decades and a new scene with the first-ever Florida-based Walt Disney Audio-Animatronics figure!
The updated Carousel of Progress is scheduled to open in late spring 2027, introducing the new voices and characters while continuing the beloved attraction’s tradition of showcasing how technology and family life evolve through the generations.
