
According to Collider, Justin Theroux has been cast as the voice of Tramp in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the 1955 animated classic Lady and the Tramp.
The live action version of Lady and the Tramp will be directed by Charlie Bean, who also directed The Lego Ninjago Movie, in which Theroux had a role in as the voice of Garmadon. Theroux is starting to build a catalog of voice work, as he also was the voice of Megamind’s Father in the 2010 film Megamind.
Evidently, Disney has not yet found the voice of Lady, but Theroux is in the final contract negotiations before becoming the official voice of Tramp.
The Lady and the Tramp live-action adaptation is scheduled to debut on Disney’s upcoming streaming service in late 2019.
