Charlie Bean (The Lego Ninjago Movie) has been brought in as director for the upcoming live-action/CG version of Disney’s classic animated film Lady and The Tramp. This is one of several movie and series projects that Disney has started work on as they try to add original content to their upcoming streaming service.
Disney’s new streaming service is expected to debut in fall 2019 with a goal of four or five original movies during the first year, plus five new TV series.
Brigham Taylor is producing the Lady and the Tramp update and Andrew Bujalski has written the script.
