Since the introduction of MagicBands at Walt Disney World, guests have been clamoring for the option of a purple band. With the new Retail MagicBand on Demand station that recently opened in Tomorrowland, the purple MagicBand has become a reality.
Located inside the Tomorrowland Power & Light Co. location at the exit to Space Mountain, this station will allow guests to choose from eight different colors (yellow, orange, red, blue, pink, green, gray, and purple) to create a retail MagicBand and customize it with over 40 graphics. The MagicBands can even be personalized with the guest’s name on the outside.
The MagicBand is printed on the spot using UV ink, which requires no drying or cooling time. Guests can add these MagicBands to their My Disney Experience account or gift it to someone else who can add it to their own account later.
A custom retail MagicBand costs $21.95; a personalized retail MagicBand costs $29.95.
In addition to the MagicBands, a D-Tech phone case can be created here as well.
