Florida governor Ron DeSantis announced at today's press conference that the state, with the exception of Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward counties, will move to Phase 2 of reopening procedures this Friday, June 5th. Today's press conference took place at Universal Studios Orlando.
Some of the most noteworthy facets of Phase 2 are that bars will now be allowed to reopen with 50% capacity, and restaurants will be permitted to seat guests at a bar to be served.
Movie theaters and bowling alleys will also be able to reopen with 50% capacity, and the retail locations will be allowed to operate at full capacity.
