Downtown Disney favorite Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria is still in the middle of a restaurant-wide renovation, but recently debuted a modern new patio and bar that offers more outdoor seating in the California sun.
Naples has also added some new items to their menu that are perfect to enjoy “al fresco.”
Look for a new pasta, gnocchi, and a seafood dish inspired by the Mediterranean Sea.
The Trofie is twisted pasta served with shrimp, basil pesto, green beans, and fresh tomatoes. The Gnoccheti features hand-made potato dumplings, fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and Parmesan cheese. The Barramundi Alla Livornese includes sea bass, with spinach, tomato, capers, olives, garlic, onions, and chili flakes.
New pizzas are also on the menu at Naples, all using their Caputo flour imported from Naples.
The new Marinara e Capperi is topped with capers, garlic, and oregano. The Melanzane has mozzarella, fried eggplant, and basil. The Porchetta includes Porchetta ham and mozzarella. The Pesto e Gamberi is made with pesto sauce, mozzarella, shrimp, and fresh tomatoes. The Capricciosa features mozzarella, roasted red peppers, Parma ham, and green olives.
To wash it down, try one of the new non-alcoholic mocktails on Naples’ updated menu.
The Lunch Punch is made with lemon juice, pomegranate juice, and apple juice. The Capri Holiday mixes orange juice, lemonade, blood orange syrup, and amaretto syrup. The restaurant’s signature Naples Blush features pomegranate juice, blood orange juice, lemon juice, and sparkling soda.
The rest of the restaurant’s renovations, including the upstairs area, are expected to be completed later this year. Once done, the restaurant “will have a modern, European feel featuring clean lines and bold Italian-inspired patterns.”
