The airport shuttle through Mears can still be booked with your Walt Disney World package reservation, but private transportation can no longer be added as a Walt Disney World package add-on. While this change applies to new package reservations, Disney has stated that it may impact existing reservations as well. New bookings are currently unavailable for private ground transportation to and from the Walt Disney World Resort and other surrounding areas as part of a package reservation.
This Walt Disney Travel Company package add-on will be unavailable until further notice.
Guests will need to book their own alternative transportation. Options include taxis, or rideshare services.
Disney has stated that some existing private ground transportation reservations may be impacted due to unforeseen circumstances as well. Guests whose reservations have been affected will receive a phone call from a Disney representative if their reservation has been impacted.
