Back in September, we told you that the Reedy Creek Improvement District will be building a third parking garage and pedestrian bridge next to the Casting building across from Disney Springs. We originally reported that the new garage would provide 2,000 parking spaces, but we’re now learning that it will actually provide up to 3,000 additional covered parking spaces not only for guests and Disney Springs Cast Members, but also for residents of the Casting and Partners (formerly SunTrust) buildings. It will include the same smart technology as the existing garages, making finding an open space easy and hassle free.
The parking lot for the Casting building is set to close April 1, 2017. Casting and Partners building residents will be directed to park in the Cast Services parking lots, entering by Team Disney, and use the designated walkway to get to their building.
Guests of the Casting and Partners buildings may park in the designated two-hour and four-hour limit parking lots adjacent to the Partners building.
