New Disney Pixar ‘Coco’-Inspired Show Coming to Mexico Pavilion at Epcot

Walt Disney World has just announced that beginning March 6, “the tender story and vibrant music of Disney Pixar’s Coco” is coming to the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot, courtesy of Mariachi Cobre.

The musicians of Mariachi Cobre will be joined by Folklórico dancers who together will “tell the tale of Miguel Rivera, his love of music, and his journey to find what matters most – his familia.” The dancers will perform to music from the popular film while encouraging guests to join in on the celebration. Miguel himself will appear in the form of a whimsical, hand-crafted puppet like you see in the photo above.

This new Coco-inspired show will expand Mariachi Cobre’s repertoire as they will continue to entertain guests with their familiar performances of traditional mariachi music.

The new show is set to begin March 6 during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
